Lincolnshire Lakes

This is masterplan will create two new villages and a commercial park on land between the River Trent and the western extent of Scunthorpe. Incorporating both ecological renewal and new social provision, there will be a primary school, formal and informal areas of play, local centres with community space and public spaces as a focus for village life. The scheme opens up access to the surrounding landscape, which will be improved with new lakes and wildlife habitats. The masterplan facilitates major new infrastructure, local highways improvements and investment in flood defences on the River Trent.
