Lea Valley Eastside Vision

View all projects

The area between the Lea Valley and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in north-east London has huge potential, with opportunities for new businesses and housing as well as ecological restoration. Working for the local authority, we provided a framework for how this changing piece of London could evolve, sustainably, in the years ahead. Building on previous studies and consultation, a 10-year vision sets out new commercial proposals, housing projects, transport connections and public realm improvements. It proposes to intensify existing centres, diversify uses and unlock growth with the reinvigoration at three key areas; Lea Bridge, Church Road, and Leyton.
