Rachel Mundell

Director

Rachel’s portfolio of projects ranges across sectors, from higher education to large-scale urban masterplanning to residential and commercial developments. Rachel enjoys the storytelling aspect of architecture, exploring a project’s development with a client or introducing new audiences to our projects through visits and guided tours.

She played a key role on the development of the Wood Wharf masterplan for Canary Wharf Group, one of London’s most significant developments that is injecting new uses and life to the docklands area. She delivered the Dorothy Wadham Building, new award-winning second year student accommodation for Wadham College, Oxford. At Harwell she completed a new science and technology building ready to accommodate a wide range of uses across the R&D and innovation sectors.

With a sophisticated understanding of the complexities of most university estates, Rachel is currently applying her experience to a masterplan for Oxford University, and a project that looks at Imperial’s historic South Kensington campus in London.

Hailing from the Isle of Wight, Rachel studied architecture first at Bath and then at Westminster University. She is a member of the practice’s Higher Education Group.
