Peter Sagar

Associate Director, Dublin

Peter is an Associate Director and leads our Dublin studio, taking a strategic role for the practice in Ireland.

With experience across a wide range of sectors, Peter has led masterplans, office and hotel schemes and competitions for high profile residential, cultural and commercial projects, bringing his design skills and strategic thinking to bear during the early concept and scheme design stages.

Peter has prepared masterplans across Ireland for numerous public and private sector clients, playing a key role in the detailed design and delivery of recently completed commercial and residential schemes for Dublin Airport Authority and Quintain. He has also been involved in the recent delivery of 620 new homes at Adamstown, South Dublin, and is leading several projects with the Land Development Agency, including a major masterplan in Waterford. Having been involved in the design direction of several Town Centre First projects including plans for Moate and Carrick-on-Shannon, Peter co-authored an article about the Irish Government’s Town Centre First programme for Architecture Ireland.

Peter graduated from Newcastle University and went on to win a scholarship to study for his Part ll at the Architectural Association. He is a member of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) and has served on the committee of the Architectural Association of Ireland.
