Yorkville Tower Study
Solid timber massing blocks for five proposed super-tall buildings for the Yorkville project in Toronto. Each has an acrylic hat for the top. A metallic veil on each represents the facade with windows laser-etched into the surfaces, giving a texture and weight to the forms. These removable totems sit within a larger base model of the wider development and un-etched context massing of the surrounding neighbourhood.
