Working with a historic structure

An example of inserting new elements into a historic public building. Laser cut Perspex and sawn Chemiwood has been finished with a white spray finish to convey the existing structure. The building had a very interesting set of tensioning bars holding all the walls and roof together, so these elements were sprayed red to highlight them. Pear timber was sawn and shaped to show all the new elements proposed for the building. Light green etched trees are added for the landscaping.
