For the 2022 Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts, we made the piece ‘Petals for 2 Aldermanbury Square’. It depicts the diverse configurations of the facade for a new office building we have designed in the City of London. The petals are modulated in response to sub exposure, opening to increase solar shading when needing and adding a playful accent of colour. The petal mock-ups are constructed of metal and encased in a wood and Perspex box. Here, it is seen displayed in the Architecture Room of the Summer Exhibition, curated by Alison Wilding under the theme of climate.
