This is a massing model for Beltline Yards in Toronto. The architecture is conceptualised around the idea of stacked volumes, with the roof forms expressing the local industrial influences. A grey card has been used to make a contoured base. Buildings are sawn from lime timber and machined into size. The pieces have then been finished with a tint or painted to exemplify different uses. Special elements were then machined out of clear Perspex which have then been sprayed, and sanded, for a frosted finish.
