Allegiance Square, Al Balad
This landscape model shows the detail of hard and soft landscaping for Allegiance Square at the Al Balad UNESCO World Heritage Site. Pear veneer was laser cut and engraved to give the texture of cobblestones for the paving and roads within the new square. Lime timber was sawn and sanded to the shapes of the surrounding buildings, these were then sprayed with a white tint to give them a more natural appearance. Mid and dark green foam crumble, etched trees and palms show the soft landscape.
